Ok thank you. Well I have a canon EOS 450D to work with, it makes good photographs, but they never turn out that perfectly. Do you also use some kind of glass beneath your work so it reflects so wonderfully? and how many lights do you use? Won't the background become grey with too much light? Sorry for asking such an amount of questions, it's realy interesting.
If your camera has a macro setting (would look like a little flower) use that and turn off the flash. I use two moveable spotlights on either side of the light box, one above can also be used.
The surface I use is sometimes a polished black granite tile and also an obsidian concave mirror (those are expensive). A piece of glass over a a black surface would give the same kind of background.
